OMG; recordar es vivir. I must have been six or seven at the time. My Mom and I were dancing to this song on the back porch. We both got carried away with the head shaking thing, got dizzy and fell of the porch. She broke her wrist and I have a scar on my right temple. This was like 38 years ago

I vaguely remember the refrain of another song from the same era: "ofla di ofla da........?" Does this ring a bell ?

NY to BCN in an MD? If it was a single aisle plane it must have been a DC-8. MD are only short haul planes.

When are they going to get rid of those planes? Yes, they are fully paid for but they have got to be some serious gas guzzlers....plus require a lot of maintenance.

I think BA is going to buy Iberia soon. BA also has some fairly old jets for a major airlines. Especially those 747s....they are some serious workhorses, but they need to upgrade to the 787s! I should work for Boeing. I love planes. Well not old DC planes.

There are less than 20 MD left. Some of them were from the extinguished Aviaco (aviation and commerce bought by Iberia in 2000). They are supposed to get rid of them next year. There are only a few Boeings left. Only 757. The fleet is going to be 100% Airbus in 2007.
