hello. about 2 years ago I had sex with my ex gf. we had unprotected vaginal sex. what worries me is before i entered her i fingered her and had nicked her when doing so. she didn't seem to notice but when i pulled my finger out it was covered in blood. i wiped my finger off inserted it again, more blood but less, repeated this untill when i inserted my finger and pulled it out, there was no longer blood on it. i entered her and fucked her for about 10 15 seconds then pulled out and did this 3 times. when i pulled my dick out i did not notice any blood and about 30 seconds to a minute later she finished me off with a bj.
it wasn't untill after i this i found out she had been sleeping with multiple men and we had met online. so if she was fucking me from online there is a good chance a good portion of the other guys she was fucking were also randoms from online.
this was 2 years ago and since then i have had zero symptoms and still have not been sick except for a 4 day head cold 6 months after the incident.
recent research about hiv is what led me to start thinking of previous sexual encounters and seeing if i could have had a possible exposure and this being a red flag.
about 8 months after this exposure i had unprotected anal with a girl and ejaculated into her rectum. she just pulled her pants up and continued to hang out. she has recently gotten pregnant and tested negative for hiv. so basically if i am hiv poz and since i came in her ass and she let my load absorb in her rectum for hours, wouldn't it be very likely she would have gotten infected? so with that and me having zero symptoms (i am aware symptoms or lack there of don't mean much) what is the likely i got hiv from the exposure 2 years ago?

You can never know your own hiv status going by someone else's test results.
You have been putting yourself at risk and you do need to test. As a sexually active adult you should be testing regularly anyway.
A test at three months past your last incident of unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse will be conclusive.
Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:
You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.
To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.
Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.
Anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.
If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.
Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

i am aware i can't judge my health based on someone elses health. i am also going to test regardless of any information i recieve here. i am also aware of condoms and there use to prevent hiv and other stds. i just was under the assumption i was in a mongomis relationship and when i got tested for stds it was at a bad clinic and the doctor seemed annoyed i wanted a std check and just told me too pee in a cup and later said all was clear. i was unaware of how hiv was tested for exc but obv now am more versed.
i am asking for the likely hood of transmission from the encounter 2 years ago and the likely hood i would have transmitted it during the encounter after that.

How long is a piece of string? While you're not likely to end up hiv poz from a one-off unprotected encounter, it can and does happen.
You need to wise up and start using those condoms you claim to know about.

i claim to know about now but not back then espically when 16 and being told by a person you love and trust that they love you and are in a secure monogamis relationship. and a 30 minute sex ed class in grade 9 didn't really help.
before this site i was unaware of pep or needing to wait 3 months after the incident, it staying in your body for 8 to 10 years before developing into aids exc
this hole situation has opened my eyes to hiv and the lack of education available in highschool about it.
i have wised up since then and again regardless i am still going to test. it takes 2 weeks for results to come back so in the meantime was just seeing my chances of getting infected.
this is my last post, so could you please answer the question of if i did get infected wouldn't it be good odds that the woman i ejaculated inside of her rectum and letting my load absorb in her sphincter also have been infected? from what i gathered online it would almost be a guarntee that an un medicated poz load abosrbed inside the rectum for hours would yield positive results. idk if you are avoiding this because it would be almost a guarntee and that information (since she tested negative) would keep me from getting tested. like i said i am testing for hiv regardless of the answer. and looking to use the information to keep my anxiety at bay while i wait for my results.

Not every exposure results in transmission. Cumming in someone's ass means nothing in the greater scheme of things - for all you know she just may have been lucky. As I said before, you absolutely cannot assume anything about your own hiv status by looking at someone else's test results.
