Hello All
« on: March 15, 2020, 03:14:42 am »
I haven't been up to much. I've been taking my meds regularly and looking for work. The only thing about looking for work now is the current health concerns make it difficult.
 But I am still trying.
My situation was that my spouse was the only means of support. He didn't know how to ask me to find a job. I was feeling like he hated me. Especially with his talk\ complaining to himself.
One day he just told me how stressed he was and if I get a job he'd be better. I said okay. I'm kind of bored at home anyways. Besides grocery shopping I don't have money to buy things. So my going to work would solve a lot for us.
Things are okay now. I would say great but I need to be working to be able to write that.

Hi Delilah

That funny business of the the interplay between domestic / romantic relationship and money and HIV is rarely spoken about.  So a huge thankyou for bringing this up.

My husband has gone from an income that was higher than mine to zero over the space of the last year.  We're managing financially... Just.  But the emotional / psychological toll on us both is tough. We'll get there.

Good luck with your job hunt.

Hugs from Australia.
