Sad news
« on: September 15, 2012, 01:29:52 pm »
My mother had not been feeling well for a while and finally had to be hospitalized.

Upon investigation, they found a mass in her pancreas, which is most likely malignant.

I am somewhat stressed out at this point, but she seems to be handling it in stride.

We are playing things by ear right now. But I found that my years of dealing with HIV had helped me help her, which is an odd turn of events.

I will catch you all up later when I have more time.

HUGS,

Mark

hi mark,
first of all, best wishes to your mother and YOU.
know you have given lots of hugs and want to give you a big hug back.
we are about the same age and i am struggling for the past several years with my mothers mental health.
i know how difficult it can be to deal with the added stress out of love.
i really hope that you have help with her.
please take care of yourself and know that you have many friends here.
hugs times a zillion!

Been away in DC...sorry to hear the news about your mother. Kind of mutes the happiness you were feeling after your operation.

Hopefully you find some strength to deal with this from the people here who know and care about you.

Keep us in the loop as you know what's what...
Of course it's important. It's an email...
