drinking muscadine wine, anyone care to join? A TOAST!!!

one year ago i found out i am poz, time flies. i don't have any profound insights here or pearls of wisdom to share, but i am in a better head space today, and for that i am grateful

thank you all for being here

at various times for helping, educating, soothing, teasing, accepting, tolerating, saving, challenging

thank you for living with hiv, you have shown me in so many ways that life goes on

Pop a cork on some white zin, and I'll toast right along with you.  That's one of the great comments these days; life does go on. 

And don't underestimate your own insights.  I believe we all arrive at that warm and fuzzy place through our own works, albeit with a little help from our friends.

Diagnosed in  May of 2010 with teh AIDS.

PCP Pneumonia . CD4 8 . VL 500,000

TRIUMEQ - VALTREX -  FLUOXETINE - FENOFIBRATE - PRAVASTATIN - CIALIS


Numbers consistent since 12/2010 - VL has remained undetectable and CD4 is anywhere from 275-325

Isn't it incredible to hit that one year mark while you can still recall some of the early moments?

Being in a better head space today, is something that you did for yourself and you should be extremely proud. It takes a lot of courage to face our infection and tame our demons.  If I helped in any way, I am pleased, but all credit goes to you, as real change must come from within.

OK, had to dig through the cubbards but finally found a bottle of whisky...  poured 2 shots...sorry I had to drink yours but here's to ya...  you're gonna be with us a loooong time
