Some of you may know that I started job hunting this week... I'm still waiting to hear from Continental Airlines and Hilton Hotels, but today I took a job at Kohls.

It's actually less money than I currently make but they can give me 35 hours a week compared to the 18 that my current job pays... so thats a good thing.

Benefits are available, too after 90 days so I will COBRA my health benefits from the old job.

The best news though... I will be out of the old job before I go postal!!

Well, I do have a little update on Continental...

While I was out at my favorite haunt last night, Keith's Bar, Dave from Continental came in and we proceeded to have more cocktails than a human should be allowed to have.

He asked "Did they call you yet?" I said "nope".

He said, well they are going to... I went to HR yesterday and talked to them.

Patsy my just get her wings yet!!!

haha... people listening in on this inquired and Dave said "Patsy has applied to be a pilot at Continental". The jaws dropped as I poured down a shot of Hpnotiq. I can just imagine them thinking that this lush was going to be flying plans. LOL

Take care, Patsy is off to Gay Days at Busch Gardens this morning to do some PR work for Keith's.

As long as you continue to dress as nicely as you did for your photo I am certain you are going to rise very quickly at whatever you do. No kidding. Dressing for success is half the deal and you clearly have that part knocked.

Continental is the one with the globe thingie going on for them.

Funny... Dave, the guy that is working on getting me in to Continental is also one of my drinking buddies. The other day we were at the bar and someone overheard us talking. haha

Dave said "Yes, Patsy is going to work for Continental, he's going to be a pilot."

Jaw drops.

Thoughts race through this guys head of another drunken pilot in the sky.

Normal pilot on the PA: "Thank you for flying Continental, please sit back and relax and enjoy the flight."

Patsy Pilot on the PA: "Thank you for flying with uhhh...uhhh...Continental, please sit back and RELAPSE and enjoy the ride! Whoo hoo!"

You guys who get to fly all day and have fun* all night in every part of the world.. What a dream job and life.. Its like "Indiana Jones" and "Lost Horizon" all rolled up into one!

I used to work for Owens Corning and I traveled all over the country and the US territories for a year. It was a riot... best job I ever had.

I would fly out on a Sunday night work all week and fly back home on Friday. My husband at the time would unpack my bags, do my laundry and have them all packed and ready to go for Sunday.

I racked up close to 400,000 frequent flyer miles and just took my last trip using them a couple of weeks ago.

A new bar, new boys and new scenery every week... woo hoo!
