Title: My current numbers
Post by: IzPoz on August 25, 2006, 07:44:33 pm
I know it's all "just numbers"  but here goes:

5/2/2006:
CD4 521
17%
Undetectible

6/20/2006:
CD4 499
17.7%
Undetectible

8/16/2006:
CD4 409
15.8%
Undetectible

I don't understand why the CD4 and % are down, only thing I can figure is that I have been under tremendous stress.  My father passed away the 12th, had my "boob squish" on the 14th, endured the first anniversary of my husband's death on the 15th... So, that being said, perhaps it was the stress that caused the blip.

We will see how it is in two months.

Hope all is well for everyone! :)

Thanks Eric :)

I believe once I'm done with the stress (I think I am.. I will be after Tuesday) then everything will turn back around again.  Seems when I'm not stressed, my counts are better :)

Love ya!!

Hi Izzy, it is Eldon. I just wanted to say that your numbers look good. However, you do want to keep the stress levels down in your life. On thing I found out that may work for you also is to set up a exercise routine daily, even if it is for just (30) thirty minutes or so. I do understand that it has been kind of rough on you lately and it will all get better in time.

In the interim; eat a healthy diet, exercise, drink plenty of fluids, and try to get some rest.

Good God, I don't think anyone could possibly have a worse week then that one! Sorry you had to go through all of it. But I must say, that is one great VL!!! I'm sure things will calm down for you. Stay strong I know you will! Your numbers are really good!

Thanks Eldon!  I'm currently exercising daily, and have become and advocate of sorts to get others to start exercising.  My routine is six days a week, starting at 5:30 am during the week, and whenever I get up on Saturday (usually 8/9 am).  I do light weights to tone, 15 minutes on ski machine and 30 minutes of walking (1.75 miles).  Since starting my routine June 21, I lost 6 pounds (I plan to lose more!!), have more energy and am less depressed.  I'm the type of person who doesn't usually dwell on the negative, but when the going gets rough.... hey, I'm only human! LOL.

I also eat as healthy as possible.  Cook with fresh veggies, and hardly red meats.  Drives my 13 year old daughter crazy, lol.

As a matter of fact... my dogs are screaming at me... their bladders are gonna burst... gotta get them going so I can do my exercise :)

Hi Izzy, I share your passion for exercise.  I have all my life since it brought me out of depression in my early twenties.  I notice I start to get off kilter if I have not been able to get to the gym...

Keep eating those fresh fruits and veggies!!!

About the stress, I don't think ANYTHING has impacted my health more than stress.  I need someone like Eldon to send positive messages directly to my brain everyday.  Anyway, somewhere he wrote, "Enjoy every moment of your day."  I am working to make that my mantra.  It's very positive to bring love to everything you do everyday, to be present and open.  But how to do this through the most challenging times is something for the spiritual adept.

Kindest,
Andrew

Come to FTL and gimme a massage, Bear!!  I haven't had a good massage in years!!!  Though, down here, they are pretty expensive... and right now, I don't have that kind of cash flow :(

Hello Iz,

Sorry about everything that you have been going through lately. It certainly does add to the stress, and can probably affect the numbers. But meantime, your numbers are looking good, and hopefully in your next bloodtest, things will take a turn for the better. The great thing is your viral load remains undetectable. My percentages have also had a tendency to bounce around a little, along with the CD-4's and viral load.

Take care of Yourself, I am sure things will improve------------Ray
