Given that only 3 people indicated they would definitely need accommodation for the London AMG, it has not been possible to begin negotiations with any hotels for a group discount.
So therefore in order for people who will definitely be attending and want to sort out where to stay the organising committee have come up with some options which hopefully will meet people’s needs. Alternatively you can use a website like TripAdvisor (www.tripadvisor.co.uk) to search for other options that suit your budget.
The Luna and Simone Hotel (www.lunasimonehotel.com)
47-49 Belgrave Road
Victoria
London SW1V 2BB
Prices start from £65-80 per night for a single or £90-120 for a double or twin.
The Alhambra Hotel (www.alhambrahotel.com)
17-19 Argyle Street
Kings Cross
London WC1H 8EJ
Prices from £63-132 per night
The Trebovir Hotel (www.trebovirhotel.com)
18-20 Trebovir Road
Earls Court
London SW5 9NH
Prices from £69-109 per night
City Inn Westminster (www.cityinn.com)
30 John Islip St
Westminster
London SW1P 4QP
Prices from £129 per night
Travelodge (www.travelodge.co.uk)
Various locations across London
Prices from £62-101 per night
If you do go ahead and book your accommodation please post in this thread so we can keep track of how many people will definitely be in attendance as that will help with planning for the rest of the event.
Many thanks

Hi
Because of work commitments I can't get to the AMG this year, wrong time of the year for me unfortunately..but I can reccomment the Alhambra, on various visits to London over the years I have stayed there twice and found it to be a lovely B&B, they do like to look after you ..and it's central to a lot of great places..Madam Tussuad's being just one.
Hope you guys have a great time..get booking those rooms, it will be worth it.
Hugs

There's also the 24 hours saunas if you want to do London on the cheap, though I think you might need to travel light to get your stuff into one of those lockers.

Ah, now I know what the coordinator was saying in the other thread.
I thought I'd confirmed ages ago in another thread. As for booking a hotel, I didn't reply right away as I won't have the money to book anything for a few more weeks. I meant to drop in here to say that, but got side-tracked and forgot. (sorry)
I was hoping there would be one hotel where we'd all be staying, so much choice short-circuited my brain. I've got too much on my mind right now, not just here with the forums, but in my personal life as well. Nobody's fault, I've just got a lot on my plate at the moment. I was hoping some people would start chiming in so I'd have a clue where everyone wanted to stay. I don't want to end up in a hotel on my own, away from all the action.
