Title: Poz.com / personals / i have a wierd question

hey guys ,
                sometimes  i look in the  personal  adds , don't  hurt  to look .

               Would be nice to make a freind  :) , close by .

  BIG QUESTION ?
                            If you are e-mailing someone in your area ,does the TIME

                              on the clock show up the same as yours ???????????

                               OR does it showw up Eastern standard time ,because of the server ??


              I was  e-mailing someone , but now I am sort of confused .

    I guess this goes more for us west coasters ?

Yea, time shows in Eastern.  It's weird, I'm in Mountain time and when I email someone in my area code, it shows two hours later! It's a Twilight Zone thing!

                       This makes me more comfortable ,you can not amagine
                        when  I got a e-mail from this guy , usually i am off line
                         when they come, and it was the wrong time .
                         Big red flag .............. to me .
                         I am taking a huge step to meet people in my area .
                         This guy is almost walking distance  :o

He's within walking distance?! That's GREAT! I hope you do continue - slowly of course.
I understand what you're saying, I'm also trying to meet people or find someone to hang with. Hasn't been easy though but hey, gotta keep trying - you never know unless you try!

This is a familiar thing to me too.  Trying to meet folks, maybe some who understand but not necessarily need to talk about it all the time. 

I think this is where I have experienced the stigma of this virus.  I find it hard to meet folks.  Now, that sounds funny.  I am a very outgoing person, have lots of friends and a great family.  But, others with the virus.  I don't know a soul or at least I don't know a soul that I know about.

I have experienced this to be somewhat isolating, of sorts.

There is a person who was a member of these Forums, he lived in Guerneville, I lived in Guerneville (a town of approximately 1200 people) and we never met.  Since he never used his own picture in his Avatar, I wouldn't even recognize him on the street.

I have been dating a man I met on a personals site (8 to 9 months now), who lives in San Francisco and I think he is the finest man in the whole wide world.   ;D  Have the best day
