Symptoms after a month

Hi,

Been very stress for the pass month. Worrying bout am i infected.

On 25 Feb 2012, i had protected sex with a prostitute. After we had finish i went to the toilet and take off the condom from my penis. When i was taking it off the tip of the condom touch my penis. I was so scared. I wash my penis as fast as i could. Been worrying from that day till now.

On 3 March 2012, i had a fever and my neck is very stiff. i can feel my lymph node swelling. It does not hurt so much. I found 2 swollen lymph node around my groin area. It's not so painful. Last night i found out i had some red rashes on my chest. im so freak out, i don't know what to do. Today those rashes can be seen on my arm and hands. and my groin area (leg).  The ones that are in my chest does not itch. But those in my hands and legs are kinda itchy.

Someone help me please.

You did NOT have a risk for hiv infection.

Condoms have been proven to prevent hiv infection. There have been three long-term studies of couples where one is positive and one is negative. In the couples who used condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, but no barrier for oral activities, not one of the negative partners became infected with hiv. Not one.

Hiv is a fragile, difficult to transmit virus, that is primarily transmitted INSIDE the human body, as in unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse where the virus never leaves the confines of the two bodies.

Once outside the body, small changes in temperature and pH and moisture levels all quickly damage the virus and render it unable to infect. For this reason, the fluids you came into contact with on the outside of the condom did not pose a risk.

You did NOT have a risk for hiv infection and you do NOT need to test over this incident of protected intercourse.

If you feel unwell, see a doctor. It's nothing to do with hiv. You did NOT have a risk!


Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED TO TEST SPECIFICALLY OVER THIS PROTECTED INCIDENT, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

I went to clinic to get check up what causes my rashes. The doctor took my blood sample. He said it could be Dengue Fever.

Make sure you follow-up with your doctor regarding the dengue fever. Whatever is going on has NOTHING to do with hiv. Good luck with the dengue.
