Exposure in Bangkok Thailand
« on: July 19, 2012, 06:58:13 pm »
Hello,
First of all I would like to thank the admin for approving me in this site since I am having a hard time dealing with my situation right now.Last july 1 2012 I have a protected vaginal sex & unprotected BJ with a prostitute in Bangkok Thailand the thing I am afraid is because I have one herpes lession 1inch from the base of my penis, the lession has no puss,it's also not sore yet its just a one blister that does not hurt.As of yesterday july 19(3weeks from exposure) when i woke up i saw i dont know if a bump or lump in my adams apple,it does not hurt and when i poke it its really like a hard bump like the size of a pea maybe smaller.I immidiately went to the doctor and showed my symptoms and according to her it looks like a pimple not a swollen lymph node because she told me lymph node usually located at the side of the neck and ear,she also examine my throat which is redish but not sore.My dilema is i never had a bump on my neck and as much as I would like to think its only a pimple I could not stop thinking its a swollen lymph node due to ARS,I thought the lession I have since it is not sore just a small close blister is not an entry point for HIV virus but I guess I should not assume.I dont have any fever or rashes but I feel diziness and headache because I've been thinking of this too much since the exposure.I plan to get tested on the 6week followed by a 12week.I hope someone can give me some advise about my encounter because I heard in Bangkok the HIV risk are really high compare to other country and its freaking me out.Advance thanks to all of you guys.

Hi RapidRod,

Thank you for your response  :) and I'm sorry for posting for other topic. Can I verify if having herpes lession which is not broken,no puss just a simple blister will be an entry point for HIV if I have protected vaginal sex? It's just confiusing because of all the internet research I've done and my doctor's information that yes it will be an entry point for HIV even its not broken.I would really appreciate Admin's expert opinion about it.Thanks again and more power to this site.

Michael,

Men like you piss me off no end. You're quite happy to have sex when you have blisters on your dick, never once considering what you might be passing on to the other person, and then come here to whine about hiv?

Guess what - a painless blister or sore sounds more like syphilis than herpes. Get your blistered dick to a doctor instead of fretting about hiv on the internet.

Hi Ann,

That was some kind of a comment but i understand and respect it. I admit it's my fault in many ways its just that in the 1st place i dont have plan of having sex there in that place until i got drunk and out of control.I never spread herpes to others as I am still single rignt now afraid to pass the virus to whoever will be my wife and kid,its just that I went of ouf control and my fault I admit all that. I registered to this forum because I think people here can help  people like me but I guess not everyone is welcome here.

Many thanks again to the admin and more power to this site.

Cheers,

Michael,

You wore a condom for intercourse and that will protect you against hiv. You're not going to get hiv through this sore on your dick during vaginal intercourse - but if you exposed her to your sore at anytime, you may have given her herpes or syphilis. Herpes and syphilis are MUCH more easily transmitted than hiv could ever hope to be.

Herpes is NOT painless. It hurts like hell. Syphilis, on the other hand, is painless. Like I said earlier, you need to take your blistered dick to a doctor and get a proper diagnosis.
