My sincere request to please respond
1. On 3rd March 2013 my barber made a cut at back of my neck, at same time I noticed bleeding on his hand, he said same blade cut him as well. Before cut me he cut his hand.
2. I google it and found it low risk but started monitoring myself
3. Around 2 weeks 15 March- noticed small red dots on tip on my tongue and small round pimples at both my lip joints. Both still exist. I thought it is Herpes but it never converted to a pimple so far neither it hurts. After noticing this I got scared and now I am under constant depression since then.
4. After guidance from internet I did following tests
a. CD4 on 15th day Count was LOW- 380
b. RNA PCR Quantitative on 12th and 17th day- all NEGATIVE
c. Blood test ELISA "Antibody+P24 Antigen" on 14th, 28th, 35th, 40th, 54th Day -all NEGATIVE
So far I have not got any FEVER but some chills, light sore throat, light muscle pain, light joint pains, light neck stiffness but all comes and goes without FEVER.
I know conclusion will come after 13 weeks test but can someone please guide on my condition for following questions
1. RNA PCR Quantitative is not approved for diagnosis, so this test at 17 days has no significance, result was "Target not detected".
2. Can my CD4 380 be due to depression?
3. Now I have OHL like symptoms, can OHL be there without HIV, due to bad immune system?
4. Can my Antibody Creation [no Fever, no large Lymph nodes which appear when body start fight] be delayed due to my depression which suppressed my immune system due to depression

I am very sorry that you had an unfortunate Google search. It happens from time to time.
What you described was not low risk.
It is very important that you understand that it was no risk.
None whatsoever.
HIV is a very delicate virus and is primarily transmitted inside the human body. It simply cannot remain viable outside the host.
were it possible to be transmitted in the manner you mentioned, HIV would have been classified as a communicable, rather than infectious disease decades ago.
HIV positive people cut hair, serve food, do probably every occupation you can imagine.
I am sorry you found this forum after spending so much unnecessary money and time and anxiety testing over a no-risk incident. Perhaps if you take the time to read our LESSONS on transmission (they are in the menu at the top of this website) you can educate yourself AND your community. We certainly need your help in eradicating the small but potent pockets of ignorance that still exist regarding HIV in this world.

Had you read the post at the top of this forum, labeled "Welcome! Please read this before posting" you would have known that you are not allowed to post in other people's threads. Please stick to your own thread about any concerns regarding HIV. You can certainly read other threads, and in fact I encourage you to do so. But you are not allowed to post in any thread but your own.

Understood sir, I will not post. Thanks so much for your fast reply. Sorry but I have another question based on your reply and my apologies in advance if I am taking your time for irrelevant Qs. Trust me these questions means/effects me in big way so for God sake please do reply and keep helping the ignorant like me.
My case was- Barber cut his hand with eraser and there could be potential blood on the eraser and within seconds he cut me as well with the same wet (with blood) eraser. Isn't this case is similar to sharing needles or needle injury? BTW he made a deep cut on my neck because I had a big pimple (kind of) at my neck.
Do you still believe it was "NO RISK"? Sorry I was not descriptive in my earlier post, but if I am at even LOW risk, it will be great if you can provide your opinion for my other questions.

HIV is damaged the instant its exposed to oxygen and rendered unable to infect . That is the reason why people have NEVER gotten HIV from a pimple or a cut at the barber . If HIV were that easy to transmit all of humanity would be living with HIV by now .
If you consistently and correctly use condoms for vaginal or anal sex and do not share IV injection equipment you will avoid exposure to HIV ... its that simple .
