  • EPIC FIERCENESS!
Memorial Venue
« on: July 28, 2010, 08:35:53 pm »
I spoke to a wonderful gentleman "Lane"  at Aid for Aids of Nevada (AFAN). He is gracious enough to let us use one of their conference rooms for the memorial. It is available to us on Friday from 1:30 -3:00, if this is not good I might be able to move it slightly earlier or later.

AFAN is a couple miles from the Strat., not really walking distance given the heat. He mentioned that they have a 12 passenger van and offered to to pick us up. Since there are 19 of us we would still need a car or two for the remaining 7 people ( I think Gary and someone else will have a rental car?).

Needless to say he was very accomodating and I think it would be nice if we could each leave a donation after the memorial.

Thoughts?

-Will

This is perfect!  I will have a rental car and will be glad to assist with transportation, not only for this event but for others as well (i.e. Meet and Greet.)  Thanks Will for looking into this...I have been so swamped at work I have not had to the time to call around and investigate.
