Risk Assessment

(1/1)

Chris_87:
Hello,
first of all thanks for this forum!

Some months ago I went to a spa where I got a massage incl. a handjob and some anal fingering. No other sexual activities happened. It started with a massage with some oil and afterwards a bit of anal fingering (without gloves) and at the end a handjob.

Where I am worried is the anal fingering - because by coincidence, some days later I went to a doctor as I detected by chance some pinworms during defecation. It seems that I had since much longer a pinworm infestation (already much before I had the massage, not ). Now my question, would there be a risk if the hand of the therapist had semen or vaginal fluids on it? Would this have created a potential HIV risk transmission for me? Would there be a risk linked to my worm infection?

Thanks in advance for your time.

Kind regards

Chris

Hiya.

I read your post three times including the "what ifs" about fluids on fingers, etc.

A sex worker gave you a handjob and fingered you, zero HIV risk. Move on with your life.

Here's what you need to know to reduce your HIV risks:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse correctly and consistently, with no exceptions. Consider talking to your healthcare provider about PrEP as an additional layer of protection against HIV and get vaccinated against HPV, Hepatitis A & B.

Keep in mind that some sexual practices described as safe in terms of acquiring HIV still pose a risk for other easier-acquired STIs. So please do get tested at least yearly for STIs, including but not limited to HIV, and more frequently if condomless intercourse occurs.

Also, note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms; testing is the only way to know.

Kind regards

Jim

Thanks Jim for the quick reply! Clear for me now - I was really worried because I had those pinworms much before I went to the massage.

Thanks again!

Jim Allen:
You're welcome.
