Hiya,
So if I understand you, 8 weeks ago you had condomless intercourse with your wife. Since then your testicles & head of your penis hurt and you have had pain when peeing, however, your STI screening after going to the ER 4 weeks ago was non-reactive.
Is my understanding correct?

I am going to presume what I wrote above is correct. So none of your symptoms are HIV specific, go back to your healthcare provider so they can test and treat whatever is causing these problems. I hope you feel better soon.
Regarding the HIV risk, test at six weeks post your last exposure with a blood-draw (lab) HIV antibody test. The result at six weeks will rarely change, and retesting at three months is generally unneeded.
Here's what you need to know to reduce your HIV risks: Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse correctly and consistently, with no exceptions. Consider talking to your healthcare provider about PrEP as an additional layer of protection against HIV and get vaccinated against HPV, Hepatitis A & B.
Keep in mind that some sexual practices described as safe in terms of acquiring HIV still pose a risk for other easier-acquired STIs. So please do get tested at least yearly for STIs, including but not limited to HIV, and more frequently if condomless intercourse occurs.
Also, note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms; testing is the only way to know.
Kind regards
Jim

Think I screwed you up 8weeks first time had sex 16 days before hiv test had sex again. 2 weeks later I went to ER pain in my ass and balls pain when I peebwas in side my penis like half way down . They did not to do hiv test there only 2 stds neg. That was my blood work from Er 4 weeks from last time had sex foot joint pain still to this day . Hope that’s helps
Jim Allen:
Thanks for the clarification, appreciate it
However, the assessment remains largely unchanged, none of your symptoms are HIV specific, some of this has nothing to do with HIV regardless of your status.
Go back to your healthcare provider so they can test and treat whatever is causing these problems. I hope you feel better soon. As for HIV risk, to confirm your negative HIV status test at six weeks post your last exposure with a blood-draw (lab) HIV antibody test. The result at six weeks will rarely change, and retesting at three months is generally unneeded.
