I just want to be the first to thank you for the response to this very important development. It is obvious that it was needed and the thread in the Living forum showed that.
I commit to making this a very good and interesting place and one that will be open to all kinds of issues that are affecting some of us at this advanced stage of HIV/AIDS that nobody has ever been involved in, until we made it to this place in our disease progression.
I simply close by saying Thank You!
Love,

Peter, I echo Tim's "thank you"! When I first came to the forums, I was looking for a place to connect with other LTS. My local support groups seemed to consist of recently diagnosed people, and I felt as if I didn't fit in.
I look forward to seeing what we can accomplish in this forum!

Woo Hoo! That was fast! Congrats, guys! Look forward to reading and seeing how this all goes!
Thanks Peter and Mods....and also to Joe Killfoile for such an excellent proposal request that got this all truly rolling. And to everyone for stepping up to voice their support for the idea.
Enjoy it, guys!

My thanks to you too, Peter, and I really like the wording of the Welcome post.
After going on 19 years of coping, I already feel somewhat comforted knowing there is now an online space where I can post the more intimate experiences of aging with HIV/AIDS (and dying when the time comes) and know that I’ll be understood by others.
Daniel

Dear Peter, Ann, Andy and Tim,
Thank you all for supporting the creation of the new forum and as Daniel mentioned, I REALLY LIKE the introduction post and I appreciate the consideration and compassion in your creating this new forum. I also wish to compliment you all on your continued dedication to this site, because no matter what storms we weather, you have never wavered in your support nor dedication to the HIV Community. You have a real thing of beauty in this site and given our current world malaise, I believe that is saying an awful lot about the caliber of our site.
