RIP Gina Quattrochi

(1/1)

Ptrk3:
She was there for those afflicted with HIV/AIDS from the start.  May her courage and kindness never be forgotten and her good works live on forever:

From the New York Times:

Gina Quattrochi, who turned Bailey House into the nationís largest provider of housing to people with AIDS and a model for similar organizations around the United States, died on Dec. 13 in Manhattan. She was 63.

Jody:
RIP dear lady.  Housing is crucial to all citizens but if one is fighting AIDS it is mandatory to have a roof over their head.  Thanks to her efforts and those of other heroes this was made possible.
