I know this is a US based forum - but I know you have a lot of UK readers - so will try this question here. AMAZING forums can I just add - a real lifeline.
There is a planned 36% cut in HIV services from the government - but I can't find out ANYWHERE what these cuts relate to specifically - just seem to be announced as general cuts.
I've called a few people and it seems to relate to hiv prevention and pastoral care (THT, counselling, education etc etc) and that actual treatment - ie medication and clinics, will remain untouched.
Does anyone have more info on this? I am worried, obviously, about medications (all or a selection of some) coming off the NHS.
Will do some more ringing around to see if i can get an answer.
