Am I infected with HIV? Please help!

I had an unprotected oral and protected anal with a sex worker in a country where it is legal (sex workers are supposed to do HIV tests every month). She didn't look that healthy. What caught my attention was her disfigured toe nails. When she started the oral, she leaned on me in a way to prevent me from seeing the act and when the oral was done she quickly put on a condom and started the anal and when it was done, I noticed some traces of blood inside the condom. I know I didn't have any cuts. So I suspect she might have had sever ulcer in her mouth and she was bleeding but didn't let me see it (just a hypothesis). So if that is true, I assume a small amount of HIV might have entered me. So here is what happened so far:
 - Day 16 I did both HIV-1 RNA Quantitative bDNA and antibody test, came negative
- Day 27 I repeated the same and both came negative
- Day 40 I repeated the same and the antibody came negative and still waiting for the bDNA results.
 - Day 41 I started feeling the Seroconversion symptoms 6 weeks post infection. From what I read this could be well aligned with the hypothesis of low amount of HIV virus entry at the time of infection (please correct me if I am wrong). My symptoms are: High fever for 2 days (around 101.5), sever headache for two day, some muscle spasms, very painful feet and numbing hands and fingers, and a mild semi productive cough. I have lost 8 lbs mostly because I am not eating well. On the other side I have no rash, no enlarged glands, and no diarrhea.

My questions are:
1. What are my chances for being infected with HIV considering my situation?
2. How accurate the HIV-1 RNA bDNA test is at 27 days and at 6 weeks considering the possibility of low number of entry viruses?

The anal sex was protected and getting a blow job is not a risk for HIV . HIV is transmitted sexually from unprotected vaginal and anal sex .

You did not have a risk and you did not need to test for this incident ... so if this is your only concern in the last 3 months you are conclusively HIV negative .

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

   , anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

As Jeff said, you didn't have a risk. You do not need further testing at this time as no risk means you're not in a testing window period. You do not have hiv.

Thank you for your replies. I am sorry for the mishab as I am very very nervous with very high anxiety.

But I read that ulcers and mouth bleeding increase the chance of HIV transmission through oral sex. Just wanted to know if anyone has seen a case like this.

Absolutely NOT when getting a blowjob. As for blood in the mouth, unless you're in the habit of repeatedly punching a person in the mouth before they blow you, there could not possibly be enough blood present to cause the least hiv concern.

The only thing you need to worry about concerning the possibility of her having ulcers in her mouth is if those ulcers were caused by herpes or syphilis. They have no bearing on oral transmission of hiv when getting blown. Oral transmission of hiv when getting a blowjob DOES NOT EXIST.

Not only is saliva not infectious, but it also contains over a dozen different proteins and enzymes that damage hiv and render it unable to infect. Not one person has EVER been infected through getting a blowjob and you aren't going to be the first.

You haven't had a risk for hiv infection.
