We might go see it. Oliver Stone was on the last couple of nights, on The Daily Show, and also on the Colbert Report.

I saw the preview for this last week when I went to see the Coen Brothers new movie (loved it) and I have to say that "W" didn't look all that fab.  I'm not a huge Stone fan though.

I'll be going to see it when it comes out.  Anything that portrays Bush as the idiot he is I soak up.

I think it's going to be an uphill battle to out-joke the original.

Before I go see a movie in the theater, I rank the film in three categories:
1. A must see at the theater
2. Wait to rent it
3.  Wait until it comes on TV

Here is a little ditty provided by one of our former forum members which gives me hope.

You must have been reading my mind.  I don't think I could ever act as stupid as W does (BTW, why go by a middle initial only, how silly) no matter how hard I try or as drunk as I might be.

Maybe W is a terrific movie. For me it's been hard enough to live through the nearly 8 years with this destructive fool that I just can't at this moment see the good of sitting and watching a movie about him and the rest of the knaves and fools surrounding him.

Not while all the evil they have done is still afoot causing deaths and suffering.

And I hope to be spared Oliver Stone's having to make "Maverick" sometime in the future.

Just sayin'....
