I have FREE VIP seats to the Philadelphia Sixers playing against the New York Knicks tonight, courtesy of a friend of my brothers.  I'm going with my brother as he is in town on business, thankfully staying at a hotel and not with me.

It's yet to be seen if these seats are the "Club Box" or "Club Suite" ones where you have a private concierge and your own restrooms.

Shit... the only free tickets around here are for a highschool band concert tonight in the next town over.  I guess I could pay the 10 bucks to get into the local drag strip where the local 'backer chewing and spittin' roughnecks hang.  (Note: some of them can actually be hot if they would brush those teeth) but, I guess I will just be here on the pc going back and forth between AM and FB.

Ah yes, probably the same place if it was near City Hall -- it's been there for 30 years but a few years ago they renovated the entire space and now it's very slick and modern, though top notch in quality.  This will be my new place for when people visit and I'm not paying

Oysters make a great meal don't they?  Solid protein, and I didn't have a bit of starch with them as a side.  A top quality raw oyster is like a dive in the salty ocean, and they had a choice of traditional cocktail sauce/horseradish or this nice sherry vinegar and shallot as condiments.
