Cd4-Cd8 Ratio

Hey guys, I hope everyone is ok considering the crazy times we live in. I have a question regarding the cd4-cd8 ratio and its importance.

I just got my tests back and my Cd4 Number crashed from last year 971 to 382 now, but at the same time also the Cd8 dropped from 1334 to 478. So the overall ratio is 0.80 now to 0.73 last year. Hence its my best ratio ever, I used to be around 0.60 to 0.70.

So the question is, should I be too worried about this massive Real Number drop or look at the big picture and follow the ratio?
I have to mention that the viral load is due to come next week, and that will give also some clarity, but since last tests I ve been on the same meds (Genvoya) and haven't missed a single dose.
Also during my blood tests over the years, my Cd4 Number was always very variable between 400 and 971, of course in direct correlation with the Cd8 one (both grew or decreased simultaneously)

I wouldn't be worrying at all if those were my numbers. I've seen my own make similar jumps of 300 and once 450 down like that.

The counts are rather irrelevant, they are above any danger zone, all that matters is your VL is suppressed.

The CD4/CD8 ratio, not much you can do about it as far as I'm aware so don't stress about it.

What did your doctor say?
