Interesting with tad bit of insanity. Seems like if he really was on to something he would want to share what he knows. I still think the cure for HIV/AIDS lies in Stem-Cells. Now if we can get a president that will allow such testing and work. I look at it this way I am not for abortion but I am for the right to choose. Now, lets use these aborted babies for something since abortion is legal anyways.

I agree with most people. Wht get our hopes up for a cure when we know that once a stem cell is injected into our system that it will naturally become infected with the virus through infected blood contact.

This is clearly a case for the special FBI agents Mulder and Scully.

Seriously though, I am always suspicious of researchers making wild claims without presentation of data, how they did it, controlled trials...etc. Also, my understanding of Stem Cell Therapy (which is scant at best) is that pluripotent stem cells are first primed in the lab to become the cells of interest (for HIV this would be CD4s no doubt) and them placed into the patient. He seems to be just willy-nilly injecting cells and hoping...

This President has not disallowed the PRIVATE sector from using stem cells. He has only prohibited the federal govt from using taxpayer money to do it.
