Dearest Rich,

I am so pleased to hear from you and my first thought was how strong and compassionate of a man you are and I like someone who refuses to be cowed by any of these diseases.  I hear you with the depression and anxiety, etc., and it's amazing how dibilitating those disease can be.  How wonderful that you have rekindled your passion and are beginning to return to the light.

I'm also glad that you didn't forget your friends your here and so before I start crying, I'll just say welcome back.

Well bud,

Trish and I were just talking about you.  Not sure what to say first....How proud we are, or how much we love you.  Okay, how about both at the same time!

I think it's time for some more Chinese food!!!

I was feeling blessed and thankful today.  I wanted to share it with you all.

I love you all.  I know I am not always easy to understand or know where I am coming from, but again, I am thankful...

Well Richie Boy, you are blessed and we are thankful that you are still around to play with us...  :) and will be for a long, long time.

As far as not being easy to understand or know where you are coming from -- hell, I think all of us probably don't even know where we ourselves are coming from at times.  We all go through a bad spell, but thankfully we have our friends, & the bonds we've made on these forums, to stand behind us and help us through... and are also around to share the good times as well, which I believe you are headed toward with this new and improved attitude.

So, how about some Chinese food? ;D  I'm game.

All my love,

and HUGS to you Teddy Bear!

Hi, Rich!
Since this is the first time that I reply to one of your post, let me warn you that I am not too good with words when I find myself engulfed with so much valorous, strong and lofty feelings such as the ones your post imparts to me!   And, therefore, I'd rather send you a video which, of course, is dedicated to you and all the valiant and intrepid members of this forum who are fighting the same battle --- HIV.
Thank you for sharing your story with us!  Be strong.

Love,
Val

Richie,

I told you.... one day.....
We all have to fight and we all have our demons, believe me.
You have seen mine.

People come into our lives for a reason.
And we are led, to those who help us most to grow.

I wish you a good start with the new meds.

Rich,

Your inner strength makes you a great man. A better man than I will ever be.

Good luck on your new meds. Keep us informed.

NB. Any advice about HIV is given in addition to your own medical advice and not intended to replace it. You should never make clinical decisions based on what anyone says on the internet but rather check with your ID doctor first. Discussions from the internet are just that - Discussions. They may give you food for thought, but they should not direct you to do anything but fuel discussion.

Hello Rich

Good to hear from you.   :-*

I'm relieved that things have taken a turn for the better.  Your inner strength is something I never doubted.

Fuzeon has been a pretty easy drug for me (except for the injection reactions  >:( but I can live with em), I hope it works out the same for you.

Rich,

The best of luck with your new combo. I'm pretty sure with all that stuff you will scare the shit out of this bug for a good while.

We don't know each other but from what I read here over the last 12 months or so, you are definitely sounding better and nice to read you're not giving up.

Regards,

The Canuck

Dear Rich

You are an inspirational man !! I have been poz since 81 and been spared many heartaches and illnesses yet it has take it's toll on me for sure. I like you have suffered greatly from bi-polar disorder ( rapid-cycling) which is well controlled with medication and lifestyle changes.

I will keep your voice and spirit with me as I travel this road.
