My luck
« on: April 01, 2012, 03:43:12 pm »

My ID doc got a new job and left without telling anyone including his nurse.  She left a few months later.  My new doctor let's me know about AIDS conference they are having and decide to attend. Only 2 friends know that I am poz.  As my luck would have it, the local TV station was doing interview just as I walked in....  I thought it was funnier than my mother did.

Hope everyone is well!!

Yes, LOL, that is what the people I did show said, but I never talk about it.  I was scared a friend of mine that always watches the news was gonna call and say " What did you do this weekend?"  I just don't want my sons teachers to find out, they suck enough already.

How are you?

It's usually that there's no smoke without fire (in some people's beliefs!)  Hopefully it'll be over and forgotten before long.

I'm not bad - looking into treatment options at the moment and despite what I think are horrific numbers (and recurrent ulcers and oral thrush) my doc seems to be moving at a glacial pace with getting me started  >:(

Hi Snowangel...It's my worst nightmare my doctor will just up and leave one day.  It's easy to see how they can get frustrated and burned out though.   So I hope things work out for you and your family, that you will be happy and healthy with your new physician and all good things come your way.

  Snow,

Well I suppose it could have been worse...  I do understand though why  you want to keep things private concerning your sons.  I've already witnessed first hand how ignorantly they perceive us pozzies in the smaller neighborhoods up here.

I hate to admit it, but I am really beginning to like it up here..... I'm really grateful for the easy winter I had as a break-in period to life in Mass...

I hope everything is going well for you and the family.

Hey Skeeb-

I can just imagine how you have been treated, I hope it gets better but it has been the same for me here for last 15 years.
This has been a crazy year so far, I am glad you are liking it here though.  You might not say that next winter, wait till you see how people drive. ::)
Maybe we can get our kids together this summer?

Take care,
Snow
