Hi all. I`m a mexican male married with 2 children. Lately, I`ve been very worried about the next story: 3 weeks ago, on a bussiness trip, I went to a strip club in Mexico city and got a Lap dance. I had a small kiss session with a girl, no deep, and fingered her vagina for some time(no sex). I don't know she is HIV positive but am curious of the risk level in this situation. Since then, I`ve been very stressed and worried about my wife (we have had only a few sessions of sex). I called to a mexican AIDS hotline and they told me this: "no penetration, no risk", is this true?. Do you think you have anything to worry about?. Do you recommend to take a test?. Can I continue with a normal life with my wife? Please reply. Thanx in advance.

You didn't have a risk so there are no reasons for you not to have sex with your wife.
-
Thank you for your answer. Then, I don`t have to take any test, right?. Sorry, but these days have been very dificult to me. Please reply. Regards.
-
You didn't have a risk, there is no reason to test.
-
I'm with the big dog guy, no risk, no need to test.
Go back to your normal life with confidence.
-
James,
Please read through the Welcome Thread (http://forums.poz.com/index.php?topic=220.0) and follow the Transmission Lesson link - or read it here en español (http://www.aidsmeds.com/espanol/lecciones/Transmision.htm) - so you can have a better understanding of what is and what is not a risk for hiv infection.
Kissing is not a risk for hiv infection. Fingering is not a risk for hiv infection. You didn't have a risk and you don't need to test.

My story: I had a contact with an infected girl, just deep kissing and fingering without sex. The day after i noticed i had a cut in my finger and i get worried, this finger, i had introduced in her vagina. I did the cut between one and three hours before the relation, i am not sure, the cut was like a papercut but a little more big, it had dried blood and i am sure that it doesnt bleed during the relation. Now my questions:
1.- Do you think i have to get tested ? 2.- It is known some case of infection trought a cut in a finger? 3. is there any risk about deep kissing?
-
1) No
2) No
3) No
No kidding. This wasn't a HIV risk..

Ann, sorry for this. I have been paranoic and very worried about my risk. Then, can I continue with my normal life?. Saludos.

You didn't have a risk. There is no reason not to. Just use condoms for anal/vaginal sex with plenty of water base lube.
-
james,
I've merged your threads and disabled your chihuas account. If you create a third account, you will be banned permanently, no questions asked. Do not create any more new threads either.
You didn't have a risk.

Hi all, it`s me again. I`m very scared now because I have not feel very well lately. I have a cold and feel swollen nodes in my neck. And today, my wife is sick, she don`t feel very well (headache and stomachache) so I`m really scared. Do I have ARS symptoms?. Did I pass the virus to my wife?. Please help!!!!!!!!!! Thanks in advance. Regards.
-
You didn't have a risk. You and the wife, need to see your doctor, if you believe it warrants it.
-
RapidRod, thank you for your answer. I`m really have been very stressed and hypochondriac. I have not had fever just a cold last week and I have feel swollen nodes around a month only under my jaw near the neck, specially when I `m very stressed and thinking about HIV, Is this just stress?. Ann, I will appreciate your comments about it. Thanks. Regards.
-
Any comments?
-
Go see a Dr. And keep your hands off your NODES, this irritates them, and they let you know that it irritates them by SWELLING UP. You have not had a risk of HIV infection based on what you have said. Move on with life and go see a Dr.
-
Andy, Ann what do you think about it?, is this just stress?. Please reply. Thanks in advanced. Regards.

Are there any cases about get HIV trough fingering and deep kissing an HIV+ woman? I`m feel sick!. Please reply!
-
James the answer is NO, like you've been told over and over and over again. You didn't have a risk. Whatever your problems are, are unrelated to HIV.
-
I have a question, when somebody gets HIV are there swollen nodes in all the body o they can be in just one place like the neck?. Please reply. Regards.
-
James,
A person's glands may or may not swell during seroconversion. It means nothing either way.
But what's it to you anyway? You did NOT have a risk for hiv infection as you have been told over and over.
It's high time you got over the fact that you touched a stripper. That isn't how a person gets hiv.

Then I can`t not get HIV from deep kissing and fingering a Positive woman. Are you really sure?. Sorry but I don`t feel very well and sI`m o scared about this. Please reply!
-
James for the umpteenth time. You were NOT at Risk.
-
James,
I am an hiv positive woman. My partner and I have a full sex life and the ONLY precaution we take is to use condoms for intercourse. He is hiv negative and we have been together for over seven years.
If you've read the Welcome Thread, you will have read this:
Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusive negative result or no-risk situation, will be subject to a four week Time Out (a temporary ban from the Forums). The purpose of a Time Out is to encourage you to seek the face-to-face help we cannot provide on this forum.

James did you read Ann's reply to you and the warning she gave you? If I were you I would cease the questions and read the lessons that can be found in the "Welcome" thread. Again you were never at risk.

You cant be that scared if you havent taken her to see a Dr. yet with the symptoms she is having. It's either your not scared or you dont love her or care about her.
GO SEE A DOCTOR!

Hi. I bought a home test in this mexican site www.pruebasrapidas.com.mx and tested after 9 weeks of my risk (deep kissing and fingering a women). It was negative. Can I trust with the my result?. Do I have to test again? Please reply. Regards.
-
James,
NO, you do NOT need to test again. You didn't need to test in the first place - you didn't have a risk.
You ARE hiv NEGATIVE. It's time for you to put this behind you and move on with your life.

Hi all. My story: on a bussiness trip, I got a lap dance and had a small kiss session with a girl, deep, frotation with pants on and fingered her vagina for some time (no penetration). I was tested with the rapid whole blood sample home test on week 10, 13, 14 and 15 and received negative test results; on week 15, I used 2 tests from different suppliers. Now my questions: can I be assured that I am definitely HIV-negative after my negatives test result?. Do I have to test again?. Can I woohoo? Thanks in advance. Regards.
-
You were already told in your previous thread, http://forums.poz.com/index.php?topic=7282 (http://forums.poz.com/index.php?topic=7282) that the incident you describe did not put you at risk.
You had no need to test in the first place.
Your negative test results confirm the fact that you do not have HIV.
-
James, you know how this forum works. Keep all your questions and concerns in your orginal thread.
-
James, I've merged your latest thread with your original one. You've been told before about not starting new threads. Please keep all your entries in this one thread or you are going to risk getting a time out.
You have absolutely realiably tested negative for an incident which actually didn't put you at risk HIV to begin with.
I suspect your anxiety, guilt and/or shame is about having been a dog like the rest of us and strayed during this incident. If I'm right about that, the best thing you can do for all concerned is to dump your guilt overboard and get on with your life.
This is NOT and HIV situation. Period.
-
what is the definition of fingering? penetration of vagina or not? is there greater risk with penetration and touching of cervix of transmission of hiv?
-
Shiblee, do not post in other people's threads. If you have a question or concern ask it in your orginal thread.
