Lettuce Rejoice.
« on: November 28, 2006, 06:41:11 pm »
Ahoy mates....

I have sorted out my living situation just recently....I was applying for new classes this spring (thank you G-d for scholarships!) and I ran into a friend I hadn't seen in a long long long time.  We went for a walk and I went trhough everything that had been going on and he said that one of his roomates had just bailed out on the rent.  So I moved into an upstairs room there and it's working out quite well. Never mind the fact that I'm the only female within a block radius...oh well...they are cool guys and I don't mind one bit. He said I don't have to pay rent untill I get on my feet. Instead I am in charge of the cooking and c leaning for the most part. I made peace with my past roomie and explained why the living situation was n ot working. I found someone to take my place and everything is fine in that aspect. I have an interview for a receptionist job tomarrow and because of some inside connections, I may be able to get the position. Anyway. I just wanted to update on my situation and I hope that everyone is doing fine!

Love, Jenn

Glad you have that all straightened out honey, having a stable and somewhat 'normal' home environment is very important to our overall health, I think....

hugs & kisses,

Wow, I'm really happy to hear that you've stabilized and better yet...  going to school!  I don't want to sound lame or anything, but what's your major ?  Or if you don't have one yet, that's ok too   :)

Ah the arts, my weakest suit!  Education is a life long process and even if you get a degree you have to keep at it.  Again, I'm glad to hear you're back on track.  I've been in your situation before and can still remember the turbulent times.
