very anxious , possible exposure
« on: March 01, 2023, 02:00:13 am »
Thank you for all the taking the time to read my questions and proving answers .
I am very anxious, and I needs some clarification.

I had a session with an CSW 24th march 2023 , we hugged , she sat on top of my face ( I was using her shirt as covering and it was fully covered my face ) and then she proceeded to give me BJ with condom , it got really aggressive and deepthroat and then I inserted my penis into her vagina wearing the same condom that I used for the BJ . When I came and withdrew my penis , the condom was still on my penis and I could see semen inside the condom but the condom was not covering my penis until the shaft but covering most of my penis still . Is this a possible exposure ? The CSW and I are both big individual , apart from the above, could I have possible exposure with around the vaginal area if she had any opening or sores  ?

I started PEP after 52 hours but I am very nervous ,another question I have is if when I can do testing , shall I test 4 weeks after exposure or 4 weeks after finishing PEP ?

So you hugged, she sat on your face, got a blowjob and had intercourse.

Hugging isn't an HIV risk to you. Neither is her sitting on your face, even if you didn't have the t-shirt as a barrier and engaged in cunnilingus, it still would not be an HIV risk.

Receiving a blowjob lacks the conditions required for acquiring HIV; thus, it makes sense that after 40+ years of this pandemic in terms of BJs, there hasn't been a single documented case of HIV transmission to an insertive partner (the person being "sucked"), and you will not be the worlds first.

As for the intercourse, HIV can't transmit through an intact latex or polyurethane condom. Unless a condom obviously fails during intercourse, there is no reason to be stressing or testing for HIV outside the standard yearly HIV screening.

The condom riding up somewhat exposing the shaft of your penis whilst pulling out also isn't an HIV, next time when withdrawing your penis hold the base of the condom to prevent it from ever fully coming off.

Not an HIV risk to you.

I'm not going to pretend you needed PEP over this incident, let alone testing.

Here's what you need to know to reduce your HIV risks:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse correctly and consistently, with no exceptions. Consider talking to your healthcare provider about PrEP as an additional layer of protection against HIV

Keep in mind that some sexual practices described as safe in terms of acquiring HIV still pose a risk for other easier-acquired STIs. So please do get tested at least yearly for STIs, including but not limited to HIV, and more frequently if condomless intercourse occurs.

Also, note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms; testing is the only way to know.

Kind regards

Jim

Thank you Jim for taking the time to answer my questions . If you don't mind I have a few follow up questions ,I do apologize for taking more of your time .

Condom
1.When the CSW took the condom out of the package , she opened the package with her teeth , would that have damaged the condom ? she also stretched the condom when she applied on my penis head , after the ejaculation , i did see semen inside the condom ahead of the penis .

2.the aggressive deep throat BJ wouldn't have damaged the condom ( which i used later to do insertive vaginal) ?

4. What if the condom i wore was not full on , just covering the head and some space behind but not all the way ?

3. After sex ,when she removed the condom , immediately i saw a hand sanitizer and i applied that to my gential area and penis ,I am not sure why i did that but i though it would clean that area . Any comments on this

4. I know you were clear about the PEP but on the testing ,shall I test 28 days or i don't need to test beyond the yearly you recommended .And just for know , does PEP interfere with tests?

5. Are the rapid test found in super markets accurate ?

It's called "Hand sanitizer" for a reason.

It would be best not to open condoms with their mouths and to use a new condom for intercourse instead of using the same one you received a blowjob with.

This is because the condom could be weakened, increasing the odds it might break during intercourse. However, it didn't break, and HIV can't transmit through an intact latex or polyurethane condom. Unless a condom obviously fails during intercourse, there is no reason to be stressing or testing for HIV outside the standard yearly HIV screening.

The condom not covering the full shaft is not an HIV risk to you, although, next time roll it all the way down to prevent problems like it coming off during intercourse.

::) I was clear, yet you ask me again, meaning I was not clear enough.

I'm not interested in pretending you need PEP or to test for HIV over the encounter mentioned above, as that would be a disservice to you and harmful towards the community. As you had no exposure, you can test today if you like and move on with your life unless you have had other sexual encounters or activities not mentioned here that you wish to disclose?
