Thanks y'all! For a change this year I'll be actually celebrating. Last year I blew the whole thing off :) Better health and labs will afford me an outing with alcohol consumption. Going out for a nice dinner with some friends in NYC on the actual birth date so come Tuesday I'll be gone for a five day jaunt. Will report back.

i grew up in philly, hangin out on south street and trying to hang out with the older crowd in upenn area and going record shopping on 3rd ave and market.
i went to middle school/highschool in Germantown.
nice as well as bad memories.... they were all sexual mostly...

ps: I had one of my all time TOP THREE dinners last night at del Posto in NYC. Five course meal with diffrent wine with each course... and of course I paid nary a cent! the sweetbreads, fois gras (sp?) and venison were exquisite! And you can't beat five waiters serving you at once.
Anyone going on a trip to NYC surely please treat yourself to this Mario Batiali tour de force.

errr... it was something I used to PM to this guy in Ft. Lauderdale who as head of security at the airport. He seemed to enjoy the pictures to no end.
Anyway, those days are over. I met a very strict boyfriend who kept me locked in a chastity belt. But he's "86" now for the past few years. I'll have to remember to located my dildo stash when I get back to philly... they're probably all atrophied by now anyway.

Today was SHOPPING DAY... and damn, do I feel good. Got the greatest little Westwood jacket and shirt, but one thing I'll have to return. Such is life. Tomorrow is Birthday Dinner #2 with some other old friends so you know there's nothing like extending the festivities as much as possible.
Oh, and Saturday will be Birthday Dinner #3 and then I'll be back in Philly on Sunday.
*sigh*... I'm sure I'll be a major porker by next week. MUST JOIN GYM AGAIN.... or that Greek pic of me will be for naught.
