Past 4 encounters? Am I at risk?
« on: August 23, 2017, 10:40:16 pm »
I'm kind of scared if I might have had a risk. So my past four partners since I got tested negative have been my source of worry. The first guy fingered me and we jerked off for a bit before he penetrated me for maybe 30 seconds (protected), the second was only anal without ejaculation from either of us, I topped this time. The third time I mutually masturbated with the guy and it was dark so after I got him off I'm not sure if there was any cum on my hands when i got myself off. Is there a risk associated with that? And the fourth one was oral and mutual masturbation. I'm mainly concerned about the 2nd and 3rd guy, I checked afterwards to make sure there was no hole in the condom by filling it with air, and it didnt deflate. Idk about the third guy, the possiblity of masturbating myself while my hand might have had cum worries me. Right now I think I'm sick so i'm not sure if that means I have ARS, please advise! :(

Fingering, Masturbation, Receiving a BJ and protected intercourse are not HIV risks.
Having cum on your hands does not change that as HIV once exposed outside the human body is no longer infectious.

Giving a BJ is no reason to specific test or worry either, the mouth without damage lacks the cells to infect so if this was the only concern just test as you normal would and should and at least yearly.

Did you use a condom for the intercourse during this encounter?

If you test the condom before you use it this can weaken the condom, making it more likely to break during use. So don't and, also never test a condom after you use it. Instead, immediately dispose of the condom in the bin.

Testing the condom after intercourse could damage the condom, as its not designed as a reusable product and this could lead you to mistakenly think that the condom was damaged during sex, when in fact you actually caused the damage after the intercourse by trying to "test" it. In short, testing the condom yourself before or after use is not a reliable way to tell you anything.

Testing condoms yourself is basically a stupid myth. Condoms are designed to shred when they break leaving no doubt.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, every time, no exceptions.

Keep in mind that some sexual practices which may be described as ‘safe’ in terms of HIV transmission might still pose a risk for transmission of other STI's, so please do get fully tested regularly and at least yearly for all STI's including but not limited to HIV and test more frequently if unprotected intercourse occurs

Also note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms and the only way of knowing is by testing.

More information on HIV Basics, PEP, TaSP and Transmission can be found through the links in my signature to our POZ pages, this includes information on HIV Testing

Kind regards

Jim

Hey Jim,
i had a question, I just had a threesome with 2 other guys, what is the risk if hiv transmission if one guy sucked off the other guy and had his cum in his mouth, and then swallowed, and then maybe 1-2 minutes after as I was about to cum he put his mouth on my penis and sucked me off? Thanks!

None.

Not even sure why you would think otherwise.

i'm worried mainly because i was worried there might be residual cum in his mouth and it might have either ended up in my urethra or since I have foreskin it could have infected me that way.
