Where I am from the out of pocket expense would not be much at all for the patient

Hello!  Yes I am. I was told my insurance would not cover hgh therapy. I would hate to go to the black market, but I might have to.

May i ask why HGH is prescribed? Why are you taking it? I have heard about it a few times from the younger guys at the gym, but always figured it was a fancy name for steroids and used to get all pumped up.

by others, it is used as a steroid

given that he's a new member, and this is the only thing he's posted about in every one of his posts, and now wanting to buy meds on the boards... i'm somewhat skeptical of this poster

Sorry! I am very new to this. I did't mean to double post.  I am looking to get advice on hgh therapy for my brother. I understand it is very expensive and he doesn't have insurance.

I think you should explain this. Are you HIV+? Who is being prescribed HGH? And why are you trying to buy it on these boards?

No, but my brother and his partner are HIV+. I am only trying to help

         ojo        Hello there...why is your doctor prescribing Serostim? (I suppose that the groth hormone med)...my experienced with it, it was a bad one, yes, it is very expensive, fortunally my insurance did pay for it, my co payment was 30 dollar for 90 days supply...side effect, horrible joint pain (6mg), it was so painful to get up and move around...the doctor changed the dosage to 5mg, no more join pain, although, to tell you the truth, I didn't see any improvement, it was prescribed for wasting in the late 90s, if I recalled well...best of luck and I hope your doctor has discussed with you the side effects of this med...hugs                           ojo
