Day 13 on Trivicay/Trivada (Libido?)
« on: October 26, 2016, 12:39:25 am »
Hey guys, good evening.
I'm new to the forum, but I've been reading you for a long time and it's been always very useful for me to check this forum.

I'm 25YO and been positive for 5 years already. I've been on Atripla for 4 years and two weeks ago I switched to Trivicay/Truvada due to Efavirenz's side effects like insomnia, nightmares and feeling dizzy the whole day.

I can really feel some changes already, specially my concentration is coming back to its pre-atripla levels and I have no longer stupid vivid dreams.

On the other hand, I have some issues with my libido and my mood but I don't know if I should blame my new regime for that or not and that's why I would like to know if some of you has been through the same.
I'm feeling very tired and sad, specially at nighttime and this is also affecting my sexuality. I can barely get an erection (no ED problems before starting with Trivicay). Has any of you felt the same way on the first weeks on Trivicay? I know it's been only two weeks and maybe I should just wait until the drug go to its normal level.
I have also read something about the Efavirenz withdrawal, maybe that's why I'm feeling a bit depressed and having libido problems.

CD4: 945
VL: UD.
No other health issue.

Thanks a lot for reading!
