It is an inspiring story. Thanks for sharing,  look at the smiles, on those guys faces.  You can't beat that, more power to them.   Of course I am nowhere near as old as those guys.

But it made me reflect back to when I first learned to swim in the Niagara river, when I was 11 years old.( That was 48 years ago) It was quite the challenge, and dangerous. We all lived for danger back then.  :P     All the neighborhood kids did.   My older sister did, along with my older brother, my younger brother and younger sister.  I think we made our mother's hair go gray before it's time. If you didn't swim in the river, the kids would never let you forget it. And it was great exercise, trying to go against the current.

If we weren't swimming in the river, we were swimming in the murky and polluted Erie canal. No wonder why I don't get sick, I probably became immuned to everything the canal could throw at me. Knock on wood !
