Need some advice
« on: March 29, 2010, 09:57:43 am »
My son's father is wanting shared custody of my son.  Is there anywhere that I can go to get some legal assistance?  I have looked at the ASO finder and none in my state offer help with legal matters.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks,
Brooke

Hi Brooke-
There are usually some pro-bono agencies that can help you in certain situations.  What state are you in?  Can I ask why you don't want the father to have shared custody.  I just went thru the same thing with my sons father and it was pure hell. He is violent, abusive and has no idea what is appropriate around children and he still got chance after chance.  If you want greater detail, you can PM me.
Good luck,
Snow
