Mom's B-Day!

Today is my mom's birthday!  She's 58 years young.  Saturday morning I'm taking my mom to a Farmers Market, she loves fresh fruit and vegetables, then I'm taking her this great Mexican restaurant in Las Cruces, about 45 miles away, for lunch.  After lunch, we're taking the 'back road' home and there's a section in the road where peacan trees hover over the road - great site, and there's a peacan store that sells all kinds of desserts and ice creams, where we'll make a quick stop.  Then later on in the evening, I'm planning to have a couple of beers with mother!

I've said this before but I'll say it again.  You are very lucky to have such an open relationship with your Mom.  Mine was very judgemental thru to to the end.  Being able to go for a beer with your Mom is very special.  Tell her for me that I admire her and wish her a Happy Birthday.
