My name is Magdalena Soul. I distributed the poz magazine in san francisco. 20 years ago my friend David Spencer died of aids. He was my first crush and maybe even one of my first loves of my life. He told me in 1991 that he was gay and in 1993 he was hiv positive. He lived in New York and I live in San Francisco Unfortunately I never really had the chance to say goodbye. Today, I honor him on world aids day.
