Joint pain
« on: September 15, 2016, 03:35:34 pm »
Two and a half months on Triumeq now. Getting some pain in my knees after sitting in a chair for a while. Don't have arthritis or other previous issues. Is this a symptom common to Triumeq and/or ART in general?

Sitting for extended periods is bad for your health. Think of this as your body reminding you to get off your chair and have a stretch or take a walk.

It's a good thing to be in touch with your body. ;-)

My regimen is different than yours but there have been days where I feel general discomfort in my lower limbs, like I ran a marathon the day before. Other days I wake up and feel like my back was run over by a train, stretch a little and its all fixed. This has not kept me from doing my everyday activities but it is noticeable. It lasts one to two days and each episode is farther apart now. Doctor does ask if this has happened and said its normal in the beginning. I do feel like its going away. But this is just my experience.

Stay strong!

ojo        hello awekening...mat i know your age?, if you don't mind me asling...some times, as we age, we blame everything on ast, but even people who are negative have these symptoms, especially if you spend lots of time sitting down....i remember when i was in my 30s, what you describe happened to me, never had arthtitis, just aging, i guess...talk to your doctor if symptoms persist, maybe a little bit of exercise will help...not a doctor, just sharing experiences...best of luck and hugs                                                  ojo
