I have recently been to be a pubic toilet of pizza shop (in high risk district), and my genital area touched to the top of the seat. There seems to be some sticky surface over there, which i checked by touching the corner of a tissue paper (with my hand at distance) and throwed it. Am i risk of exposure? As soon as this event, i am some symptoms like sore throat (no coughing) ? Today, i got a ulcer in my mouth (May be i ate hot pot style food yesterday) ?
What you advice ?

As you were told in another forum, at no time were you at risk of contracting HIV. You do not contract HIV from environmental surfaces. Take the time to read the lesson on transmission. You can find the link in the "Welcome" thread.

It's a school-yard myth that you can get ANY sort of sexually transmitted infection from a toilet seat. It simply doesn't happen.
What you need to do to stay STI free is use condoms when you have anal or vaginal intercourse. Read through all three condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use them with confidence.
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple.

Does it mean that even there are body fluids (like semen etc.) on the tolet surface and your pennis comes in contact, you dont get HIV ?

HIV is not contracted from environmental surfaces.

I posted this question before, and now i am having following symptoms ? The question is again mentioned here :
"I have recently been to be a pubic toilet of a pizza shop (in high risk district), and penis side touched to the top of the seat. There seems to be some sticky surface over there, which i checked by touching the corner of a tissue paper (with my hand at distance) and throwed it. Am i risk of exposure? As soon as this event, i am some symptoms
1- Day 3 - Severe Headic (In this time, i also didnt slept well, so may be due to this reason)
2- Day 7/8 - Sore throat (no coughing) ? Today, i got a ulcer in my mouth (May be i ate hot pot style food RECENTLY) ?
3- Day 19 - Today, i weared a suit and my collar with tie was closed for more than 16 hours. In night, i have burning sensation on my collar. As soon as i saw, there was red spots coming from the hair point? I put some after shave nd it hurts ?
Now, what i read about ARS symptoms, state the three above and i am getting crazy ?
I never had sex with anyone except my wife and we both were tested negative for HIV last september.
In light of the above sittuation, what you advice ?

You've already been told that your penis touching a public toilet is NOT a risk for hiv infection.
And another thing - you say the pizza shop was "in high risk district". WHAT??? There is no such thing as a high risk district. ANYBODY ANYWHERE can have hiv. All it takes is UNPROTECTED anal or vaginal intercourse. And that's the ONLY way you're going to become infected with hiv - that or sharing needles to inject drugs. Hiv does not discriminate and neither should you.
Keep posting about your penis touching a toilet and you'll quickly be given a time out. Please consider yourself warned!

Sorry for making you angry. Actually, i have not read the Welcome Message so i made these all mistakes. Secondly, my symptoms made me worried always and internet reading. What you advice me for this way ?
Secondly, unprotected sex ! Unprotected Sex with a non HIV person (means my partner) is always safe or do i always need to use condom in this case ?

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together. To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex with a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.
Have a look through all three condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.
ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED TO TEST OVER THIS TOILET INCIDENT, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.
If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results. Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple.

I am greatful to your reply. Well, i am in monogamous relationship with my wife. I had never done sex except with my wife, and my wife was in relation before me but she got tested against all STD. Me did HIV and Syphillis checkup last September. The place where i live ( Asia ) is influenced by religious thoughts and we dont normally dont do sex out of our relationship.
In this case, you still advice to do regular checkups. Secondly, i asked you that some symptoms like sore throat, neck spots are disturbing my mind too much. What you advice me in this regard ?

If your wife has been faithful and so have you then you were never at risk of contracting HIV and don't need to concern yourself with testing. See your doctor for your sore throat it has nothing to do with HIV.

Engadnan, as long as you and your wife are not having sex outside the relationship then I don't see the need for any kind of STD tests.
Your symptoms have nothing to do with HIV. We can't diagnose anything here so if they persist you should be discussing them with your doctor as Rod suggested.
