In my opinion Freak show started out ok, but ended flat for me.  I just watched the 2nd episode last night, not bad, I'm getting the whole premise and I think you're right Mike, the whole once you go in and die, you stay format... like they had with the Death house is somewhat sort of the same vibe.  Hope you are feeling better than you were during the premiere.

As for Elsa Mars in Freak show, loved it...even bought "Life on Mars," and "Gods and Monsters" sung by Jessica Lange, cause I really enjoyed her portrayal  ;D

I'll continue to watch for good things to come!

I'm sorry but I still can't seem to get into the season, anybody else think the same or differently, and if so...what makes you interested, maybe I can find some interest then...

Meh!

I've been binge watching AHS for the last couple of weeks.  I'm more than half-way through season 3 now.  This series is MUCH more interesting than I originally thought.  I'm not reading too much of this thread, as I don't want any spoilers, but should be all caught up soon.......

Though how does one create AHS and Glee??  That is some expansive mind processing........

Im not much into gore or blood and thought at first that this year was not going to be my year but it grew on me …. as bloody as it is it has enough camp and over the top dialogue that it keeps me laughing.

I'm not not-watching it yet; but, sorry, I do think it's derivative of the much better season 1.

So in murder house hotel there's a whole lot of ghosts (remember them all getting to roam off the property on halloween? the hotel is certainly where some of them might go for a fun night out). Now the Mom (bring back Connie Britton and dump Chloë Sevigny) and her child will be part of the hotel - forever and ever and ever. Wonder when we'll find out that the other child (poor little Scarlet) has already been murdered in the hotel and is a permanent guest. ;) Egads! No where near as hot as McDermont, if Det. John cries while beating off I'm going to quit watching.

However, I really love Sally and kinda hope she has a 3-way with John and the Addiction Demon

My wife is a big AHS fan but I can't really get into much, it is a pretty artsy-fartsy kinda horror show.. This season I watched with my wife after learning Lady Gaga is on it, I'm googoo over Gaga.. She really is pretty good I thought.. But what a weird show..I prefer Fargo, great cast and plenty of snow.

This season is very good.  I'm enjoying it and think it's probably better than the first.  It remains to be seen how the story will conclude and where the arcs will take us.

I have to admit the last episode was rather intriguing, in her role in 1925 with Valentino, and then his "death" and then the creepy guy she wound up marrying....I think this season is a little more elaborate and detailed.
