Last I counted for the ole' Uncle he was taking 41 per day NOT including any vitamins....

All in all, I take 22 pills a day. Of course, that includes my vitamin, fish oil and, of course, ARV regimen and two meds to fight the lipids.

Wow, I just counted mine it's an amazing 11 pills a day !! OMG

Blood Pressure(3), Cholesterol (1), Allergy(1), HIV(3), Vitamins (3) ...

Wonder if I can get this in a combo pill ??

Seriously, I'm at 9 for the HIV.

4 Kaletras and 4 for the Combivir split- broken into its 2 parts for economics + my latest addition, Crestor the Magnificent. I'm counting this as an HIV related pill because it came about from the side effects of the others.

I may not be a part of the one-a-day chic, but I am happy with my little HAART Happy Meal so far.

oops... I voted incorrectly. Mine should be 26 pills PLUS (and this poll leaves this special grouping out) two daily injections of fuzeon which OH-SO much more involved than popping some little pills. You have to prepare it by mixing the powdered fuzeon with a vial of saline solution, wait 20 minutes, draw it all in a syringe and then you're ready to go... and another 10 minutes in case blood comes out from where you injected it.

My 26 pills (always taken at once... I'm really good at swallowing huge loads!) also contain a multi-vitamin and an essential fatty acid complex. 6 of the pills are for diarrhea and 6 are digestive enzymes for absorption issues.

Currently I take 4 Kaletra, 1 Truvada, (HAART) 1 Strattera (ADD), 1 Ciprofloxacin (Don't ask)

, and sometimes Loperamide (again don't ask)

.

I strongly suspect that the day that I'm going too have to start managing the side-effects of the HAART is getting close so I'm sure I'll be taking a few more soon enough.

2 - 150mg Reyataz (next script will be for one 300 mg -- yeah!)
1 - Norvir
1 - multi-vitamin
2 - fiber tablets
1 - Glucosamine Chondroitin (so my old joints can continue playing tennis)
1 - Allegra

Each evening
1 - Atripla
2 - fiber tablets
1 - Omega-3 Fish Oil capsule
1 - lipitor

So a grand total of 13 -- not too bad, I guess.

One multivitamin because, well, I do not always eat like I should.

I used to take a lot more, bactrim, zithro, etc. But, now I am kind of boring which is good I guess LOL!

Darn it, Bocker reminded me of my glucosamine-chondriotin-msm-collagen goop that I drink once a day. And, my dears, I mean GOOP!

Add that to the Combivir, Crixivan, Pravachol, Zetia, Omeaprazole, Loratadine, 4,000 mgs fish oil, 200 mcgs selenium, multivitamin, 180 mgs (standardized) milk thistle and, of course, a Chantix in a pear tree.

Edited to add: Again, I forgot one. Advair, which I am supposed to inhale once in the morning and once in the evening.

Does anyone wonder why I quit smoking?

8. 50mg tramadol for pain
1. 25mg nortriptyline for neuropathy
2. 25mg benedryl for itchies
1. 100mg zoloft cause i'm crazy
2. 5mg marinol for the munchies
1 15mg temezapam cause i can't sleep
1. Atripla cause i'm tainted
2 1,000mg flaxseed oil

so about 18. it would be 20 something if i had to take the components of Atripla separately.

I remember taking 30 pills each day but 18 were Norvir and had to drink a full glass of water with each serving of 6. I hate drinking water because of it. That was 10 years ago and today... I take 1 Trizivir in the morning and 1 Trizivir at night with 1 Sustiva. Because I also have RLS, I take 1 Requip on bad nights. Have the best day
