         ojo.        Hi everyone!

I just got married to a foreigner, I added him to my health plan which it will increase my premium 230 dollars a month, we don’t want to be a “public charge” while his change of status process is pending. What I’m paying for him monthly it’s too much?, is there another option to get him health coverage, he is also hiv positive…in advance, thanks for feedbacks…hugs.                                                                     ojo

If you have decent employer based coverage, it would be unlikely for you to find a better deal but I don’t know what you’re getting for 230. You could estimate what he would pay without insurance vs with insurance and see which comes out cheaper.
