How long does Truvada stay in body ?

Hi,

Long story short, I have been on Prep for over two years and no side effects. 

In the last couple of months I have experienced numbness/tingling.  The doctor from the prep clinic thinks its unlikely that Truvada is  causing peripheral neuropathy.  Just to make sure I have decided to take a prep holiday.

I waited 4 weeks, after the last risk exposure, stopped prep and am waiting to see if it has any noticeable effect on my symptoms. 

However  - how long do is enough time to stay off Truvada so that I can reasonably determine whether its causing numbness/tingling ?

The doctor at the clinic was quite vague, he suggested a couple of weeks or even a month.

Does anyone have any info/advice ? How long until it leaves the body/system.

A month should be sufficient for your system to clear yourself of Truvada.
