How stupid I am?
« on: June 10, 2007, 03:37:32 am »
First of all, sorry for my bad english, I'm foriener. I like the way Ann replies the information. I really happy that I've found this website. My case was happened 2 week ago, it's been my nightmare time because of misinformation or sometime by my interpretation from so many website. I can't not let's it go untill I found POZ. So, in my case it might seem like many case that has been posted before but please give me your opinion that will help me keep my life going on as usuall. Here is my story. Last week I went to have an oil massage service in cambodia. The massager offered me a speacial service, using her naked body to rubb or grind all over my body. Not intend to have an unprotected sex, so she just gave me a hand job. No any outercourse activities were performed. Only her outer vagina accidently touch (contact) to my penis just 2-3 second when she got up off my body. I think she may be have or may be not have any vagina secretion or other fluied. But I still worried of getting and hiv if her outer vagina touched to the tip of my penis . So, here is my question 1. Do I have any risk or chance of getting an hiv? 2.Should I have to worried? Or do I have to get blood test? I'm really sure that no any insertion penis to the vagina, no intercourse, just accidently "touch" for 2-3 second.
PS. After many hour in POZ web< I guess this call FROTTAGE? AmI right? And I'm sure that I'm free of HIV from this scenario am I right? please shortly confirm my understand about HIV transmission. All the above I try to write before found this website. Please end my worry for me.

1. Do I have any risk or chance of getting an hiv
No risk whatsoever
2.Should I have to worried?
Because there was no risk of transmission there is no need for testing or any further worrying.

Frottage is intentional rubbing of the genitals and does not result in HIV transmission. Your incident could best be described as casual contact which would present absolutely no risk.

Take care

wang,

I'm in total agreement with 411 here - what you describe is indeed frottage and frottage is absolutely NOT a risk for hiv infection.

Here's what you need to know in order to keep yourself safe from hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL STIs together. To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with a sexually transmitted infection. Sex with a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through all three condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

Although you do NOT need to test over this specific incident, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results. Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

Thank for the fasrt respond, Hey Ann I really do love the way you answer to the post. It's short and easy to understand. Thank for your advice. I would like to tell you that I just got a blood test for HIV about 3month when I known my wife got pregnant. Result of mine come out negative. I'm really happy but after the terrible massage last two week, it drive me crazy because now I'm having a baby. So, I search all the web about hiv, most said my story has a risk of getting hiv, some said unlikely. Before found your web, I've decided to have a blood test but I still have 2and a half month to wait. This periond of time make me Ohhhh long long time before I can know my status. Until I found you, thanks vesry much Ann.
Sincerely
wang

Wang,

You do not need further hiv testing over this incident. You will still be hiv negative because you didn't have a risk.

Wang,

Yes, I understand you just fine. You got a sexy massage where the woman rubbed her body on yours. During this, your exposed penis came into contact with her exposed vagina.

You did not have a risk for hiv during this massage.

I hope you understand me! NO RISK.

I told him, FROTTAGE with out condom( no insertive) is safe. He don't belive me base on his research. So, would you please give me reason, theory, data that I can answer him cleary. My friend is sexually active with prostitue all the time(with comdom,as he told me). Do you believe, both of us are near 35yrs of age, silly?

Wang,

Frottage is safe where hiv is concerned, but it is not safe where most of the other STIs are concerned. The others are much more easily transmitted.

Hiv is very fragile and is primarily transmitted INSIDE the human body. Small changes in in temperature, pH levels and moisture content will render the virus unable to be transmitted sucessfuly. Also, the outer genitals do not have the correct cells present that hiv needs to latch onto in order to infect.

The only time hiv can become a danger where frottage is concerned is if you get carried away and allow unprotected penetration to occur. This is no longer frottage, but unprotected intercourse.

If you and your friend continue to use condoms correctly and consistently, no matter who you're having sex with, neither one of you will end up hiv positive.

wang,

It is the cervicovaginal fluids that have been shown to be infectious in women. This "fluid" is more of a thick mucus that covers the cervix and protects the opening to the womb. The fluids that you feel when a woman is sexually excited come from two glands on either side of the vaginal opening. The fluids from these glands have not been shown to be particularly infectious, rather like sweat or tears.

It is when the head of your penis is deep inside a vagina - bumping up against the cervix - that you might come into contact with fluid/mucus containing hiv. This happens inside the body where the conditions are favourable for hiv transmission. Wear a condom and you will be protected. It really is that simple.

Thanks a alot Ann, So goodnight for today. I'm go ing to have a dinner now bye-bye. Have a good night.
PS. if I understand it correctly, you said that vagina fluied which can be infected are found deep inside nera cervex, Penis must bump in to it(the entrance of the womb) cervix, hope I spell it right, therefore is this safe, if I just insert "just a half of my penis" then pull it back out before the head get contact to the cervix with out comdom?

Just KIDDING.

Just KIDDING.

Wang, for your sake, I hope you are. Put on a condom before ANY penetration takes place.
