Current Meds ; Viramune / Epzicom Eliquis, Diltiazem. Pravastatin 80mg, Ezetimibe. UPDATED 2/18/24
 Tested positive in 1985,.. In October of 2003, My t-cell count was 16, Viral load was over 500,000, Percentage at that time was 5%. I started on  HAART on October 24th, 2003.

 UPDATED: As of April, 2nd 2024,Viral load Undetectable.
CD 4 @593 /  CD4 % @ 18 %

Lymphocytes,total-3305 (within range)

cd4/cd8 ratio -0.31

cd8 %-57

thanks for keeping the ADAP update going Wolfie. :-*

it's very un-nerving to know that 8,655 Americans are playing catch-as-catch-can to get meds right now.  While some ASOs and other agencies are filling-in purchasing and distributing the meds, and some people are going broke spending all their money on their prescriptions, I wonder how many of these people, whose medical condition falls into the range of needing to be on treatment, are actually going without meds, waiting for something to change or waiting for their current source of meds to fail each month??? 10%? . . . 20% . . . 80%?!?!

Thankfully, about 2 wks ago the SC Senate over-rode the Governor's veto and kept $5 mill in the budget for ADAP. Sadly, $7 to $10 mill is projected to be needed for this year to care for the current patients and the estimated new clients this year. So while many people here will continue receiving meds, the SC ADAP waiting list will be continuing to grow.  :'(
