Nip Tuck Returns !!!!!
« on: August 31, 2006, 02:36:34 pm »
AT LAST !!!!! I really got into last season's story line about the Carver, as you can see

This season promises to explore Matt's sexuality a bit more, which should be worth a look, even though he reminds me uncomfortablly of Norma Desmond...
Now if they'll just hurry up with the new season of 'Over There' because I like Sgt. Scream, and I think Bo is a real dish .... and 'Battlestar Galactica' so I can get in touch with my inner Starbuck although my boyfriend seems to identify with that evil Ceylon Bitch...
A new season of Top Chef would be good too, but I guess theyre waiting for Project Runway to end.
(I actually Saw Austin Scarlet once in NY, If you thought he was Flaming on the show, you should see him in person....)
Queer Eye is just getting tired, its all about Diets now....YAWN... I wanted to like 'Workout'
but it pretty much died after she dumped her Psycho Girlfriend...'Million Dollar Listing' was pretty much D.O.A, even with the Gay little Wannabe..

Anyway, set your TIVO for Tuesday Night on FX.....

Lwood
Who really feels empty since 'Blowout' ended, so he bought some..

and yes, the packaging just brought tears to my eyes..although perhaps Sephora wasn't the place to get Emo about it....

I am also excited for Nip Tuck and Lost this year.  So excited in fact that I'm getting DVR (Tivo).  I don't like TV to crimp my life-style.

Sooner or later theyre going to do an all Gay version of The Real World its just begging to be done..they could Have one of every type, then just add alcohol and watch the sparks fly..

You wont regret getting a DVR, we're totally addicted to it. There is simply NO WAY to keep up with all of the good shows out there, especially if you have a satellite connection and a couple hundred channels... yep, as you may be able to tell I'm a TIVO Queen. I honestly dont think that the VCR has ever been used, except when I came across my old tape of 'Frisky Summer 3' a few months ago...  I've become fascinated with some of the obscure shows on Cartoon Network's  Adult Swim feature... stuff like Boondocks and Robot Chicken that are usually buried late at night and probablly owe their popularity entirely to TIVO...

Nip Tuck and Lost...count me in too. And TiVo...I thought it was such a waste of money when my husband first got it...boy was I wrong. We TiVo everything.

My latest tivo'd shows are King of Cars, and Dirty Jobs...

OK, last night's episode was a little lame though I can see where they are setting up the season for some major drama.  Hopefully the next episode will touch on a few of the items from last season!  I won't rest until I see Christian profess his love for Sean beyond last night's feeble attempt.

last night was watchable but far below par for the series.

I did like the mother daughter scene where the mother tells the daughter "let me show you how its done...Ive been sucking d--- when you were sucking pacifiers".

I was pissed they didnt pick up where they left off last season with Matt and his new boy/girlfriend Cherry Peck.

Hey Lwood,

I thought the show was great!   I'm totally addicted to it, of course.   Brooke Shields actually gets prettier as she gets older.....then on the other hand, we have Kathleen Turner, who was unrecognizable to me at first....

Is Joely Richardson actually pregnant or is that a prosthetic device?  I saw the actress who played the lady Julia talked to about having a deformed child on Access Hollywood....she seems like a pretty cool person, and has two kids who both have the same condition.   Wonder why in the world she had that ridiculous looking collagen put in her lips?  They showed pics of her when she was a news anchor a few years ago, and she looked much better then (to me).

I wonder if they will delve further into this story line of Christian having a "thing" for Sean......I hope so.   From the season 'teasers' they showed us, it looks like that lady that was married to Larry Hagman is going to be a major figure...I got the impression she may turn out to be a transgendered person, but it was so brief I really couldn't tell for sure....

Alan

PS - why did Christian shave his body hair?  I hate that....I know he's being all 'metrosexual'......
