I've heard some say she is "too loud mouthed" and doesn't help the cause.  I think there is a time to be all nice.  But, when you are dealing with certain people, I think you sometimes have to get very vocal to be heard, especially about something so important.  Her message got out.

She actually handled herself in a civil manner.  She waited to be called on to speak.  She abided by the rules.  She didn't go in screaming, without having the floor to speak.  If I needed someone to stick up for me, I would call her.

What reason was given for her being forcibly removed?

Looks to me like it was because she was speaking the truth and going by the Texas State Legislature's track-record, truth and evidence-based science are not permitted in their debates.

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

I stopped watching by the third or fourth tsk. I can't stand people who do this while speaking. My fifteen year old and all her friends do this, I guess it replaces the word like.
But no I would not have this woman stand up for me. I could do a better job for myself.

Not from what I've witnessed on these forums....

This woman was far more eloquent and stayed on topic.
