Started therapy today.
« on: November 01, 2012, 06:57:45 pm »
Hi everyone

I haven`t posted for some time been because I have been busy with school (very busy)! Today was the final (I hope) Chapter with this experience. After six months of processing this HIV thingy, and staring at four months supply of Truvada and Isentress(it sounds strange but when my sister went to the pharmacist to pick up my meds, the pharmacist straight off the plane from Iran gave my sister four months supply of meds and said, ``here you go honey, make sure he takes care of himself this should be enough for him to get used to it. Come and see me soon when he needs more). I don`t know why I she gave her so many bottles. I am under a program called Trillium here in Ontario Canada and I have to pay 250 every four months, so maybe this supply was for the entire quarter, I don`t know.

Anyhow I swallowed my first dose, actually about to swallow the second Isentress in about an hour.

Part of me feels relieved that hopefully HIV will stop replicating in my system and the damage is limited, but the other part of me has some irrational fear about these meds. I felt fine today though and although it is the first day I hope it continues.

Best to all

Trust. That haart IS going to stop replication.  And not poison you.  You'll see. Good luck.

So long as you realize that this fear is irrational, you'll be ok.
