Feelling the Atripla Drunk for the first time!
« on: March 06, 2007, 08:36:57 am »
For the first time, after three and a half months of atripla I am feeling that drunk feeling. I am walking around work in a daze. Had a big cup of coffee and still feeling it. Yikes it is really weird. One thing for sure I keep smiling, thank goodness I am a happy drunk!!

I felt it bad last night and a bit this morning.  I've been on Atripla since December and haven't felt it as strong as last night.  I was trying to type a message, and the three lines of text took forever to get correct.  I had to stagger to the bathroom, bumped into the door, typical drunk stuff.  Yeah, it does help to be a happy drunk; I'm one too!

i don't think it's uncommon to have have issues with sustiva pop up for no apparent reason. my cns side effects have yet to subside and my roommate had issues pop up close to the 2 year mark. it got so that he went on a med holiday. so sustiva never really surprises me when i wake up feeling like shit.

Strange!

Yesterday and today were the same for me.  All it means is I have a smile on my face.  I wonder if allergies have anything to do with this?  Here in Dallas, it's in the 70's so things are beginning to flower and allergies are starting to kick in.

I am over 5, perhaps 10 years, on the Sustiva portion.  Sometimes I am sure that some of the capsules have no meds. in them since there are no side effects.  Other times I would claim that, yes, this one had the drugs.  I have also noticed mornings with that vague Sustiva dullness needing to be pushed away, via coffee or whatever I can come up with.  Win

Don't you have to have like three posts before you can send messages?  Otherwise, you just click on the IM icon below my name and it'll open up a box where you type your message.  If you have problems, start a thread in "Off Topic" and ask about sending PM's or IM's as they're called with new software.
