if i lived where you do i probably wouldn't feel the need to get so drunk or be the village idiot.  but i live in the usa, the bestest damned country in the whole world, where intoxication and ignorance (about the rest of the world, AKA damned furriners) are required.  "under god" wasn't in our pledge of allegiance until the mccarthy witch hunts of the 50s made anyone with different beliefs a suspect.

I was raised Baptist (went to a christian hi school and college) and then moved up to Ohio and lived with the "godless Yankees" for about 20 years. I just moved back down to South Carolina - nearly slam-damn in the middle of the "bible belt".  unfortunately, unlike most of my neighbors here, I now believe in evolution instead of creationism and don't think Obama might be the anitchrist. 

Of course being reared baptist, I already knew the Pope was evil LOL (much to the dismay of the catholics I lived around in the north), but I'm already truly enjoying the "evil bible" site.  thanks again!

to lead my family out of their ignorance
(so I cuss a lot and tell them their churches are cults)
to annoy their neighbors
(I lie out tanning in my speedos blasting the latest madonna cd)
and to scandalize everyone at my baptist school 30yr class reunion 
(hello, remember me? <shaking hands> I'm queer and have AIDS)

but mainly because I didn't want to live through another one of those damned blizzards

(just today when I called back up to Ohio, I found that my friends are already suffering with a barely 50 degree high, rain, and leaves falling off the trees; while I was out cruising around in 80 degrees with wall-to-wall sunshine  )
