Post by: sadu100 on August 10, 2013, 11:57:02 am
Hello my dear friends..
My condom has slide off due to problem of penis erection any how i was just able to manage the condom and penis till the edge of anus only there i missed the condom and i was able to just grab out half erected penis. After two weeks i got joint pain ,time to time in different joints and pain is look like moving here and there, but i do not have pain at once or any other symptoms. Do you think that this may cause to infection of HIV thanks..

It sounds to me as if you had the head of your penis covered during the brief insertion. If that is so then you did not have a risk for HIV.

If your penis was inserted without a condom in this situation, then you had a very low level risk. Test at 6 weeks and then again at 3 months. I don't have any doubts you will test negative. And I am only suggesting doing that if at any point your penis was in his ass without a condom on.  If that didn't happen then there is no need for testing.

Your joint and pain problems are something to discuss with a doctor. They have nothing to do with HIV.

Sadu,

You did NOT have a risk for hiv infection.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED TO TEST FOR HIV OVER THIS SPECIFIC SITUATION, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!
